But, nonetheless, it brings into question why it matters so much that it HAD to be built in order for it to REALLY count.

So then what's the difference between those and non-built ones that are using the same basis for their data? Again, this isn't all the prototypes in game, in fact, only a handful (case by case basis). EVEN THOUGH, the data being used for it are overwhelmingly coming from the blueprint of the tank vs testing done with it. Yet nobody has an issue with those vehicles being in game just because they were built. Some of which prototypes have so little or incomplete data that the blueprints are the primary source. Some of the prototypes in game right now (and i mean some, it's kind of a case by case basis), their data isn't all that more reliable than some that come from blueprint/ non-built tanks. Tell me the oh so terrible draw backs? Do some of these vehicles really all that drastically hinder the historical accuracy of this game? And IF they do go through with hiding these from the main tech tree, will Gaijin continue to do so for other vehicles in the game? In my opinion I really don't see anything fundamentally wrong with vehicles being in the game that weren't built/completed in real life. Moreover, why this isn't necessary and a serious step backwards towards the possibility of the addition of other completed blueprint tanks such as the E-Series (which I know many people have requested for awhile). I would like to bring into serious question the "necessity" of this.

I know there's some loose discussion going on right now on different parts of the forum surrounding the topic of the possibility that the Panther II and 105 Tiger could be removed.
